Blarney Sofa Factory is an Irish owned family run business founded in 1990 by Frank Downey. For almost 30 years Blarney Sofa Factory has been designing and crafting furniture at its manufacturing facility in Killard, Blarney, Co. Cork.

Today we continue to design and craft chairs and armchairs with the same skills and loving care in addition to bar stools and bench seating for the domestic, hospitality and healthcare sectors.

Our products are designed for style, comfort and practicality. We aim to set the industry standard for excellence in customer service, quality and value of product. In a time when many people buy cheap, plastic, imported furniture we think its important to highlight the dying crafts of local furniture makers. Each individual piece is skillfully handcrafted with native hardwoods. A healthy environment is important to us. Dealing carefully and responsibly with nature is a matter of course for us. We place great emphasis on sustainable use of the valuable raw material wood in order to safeguard its existence for future generations. It is for this reason that we purchase our raw material from sources that follow these basic principles.

We supply an extensive range of top designer fabrics at competitive prices. Nothing has a bigger influence on the look of your upholstered furniture than the fabric. Its the most visible sign of fashion and quality. All our fabrics and foams are fully flame retardant to comply with industry standards.
