Oure 2nd Annual Conference held this year in the Science Gallery, Trinity College was opened by Minister Heather Humphreys to a capacity attendance from all corners of Ireland. A well balanced team of speakers delivered a series of excellent papers with the theme running through the Conference on LEAN manufacturing from Sustainable Resources aiming to achieve a Circular Economy.  Both Neil Kerrigan from Enterprise Ireland and Des O Toole from Coillte emphasised the large volumes of timber coming from our forests  and the opportunities this created for Innovation in Irish Woodworking. The resources are there it is up to use the manufacturers and designers to maximise the economic value of

the resource.
