Daniel Mesecke, Account Manager | UK. MICROVELLUM

Will be talking at our next Webinar about the Technology Skills Gap demonstrating the simplicity of CNC programming within Microvellum as the programs are effectively created as the drawings are produced. Daniel has:

  • 15 Years industry experience, specifically in bespoke joinery design & manufacture

  • Previously worked for a London Based Commercial Joinery manufacturer

  • Experience in CNC operation & programming

  • Have been using Microvellum my whole career

A little bit about Microvellum:

Our typical user is:

  • Joinery manufacturers producing anything from kitchens, wardrobes, banquette seating, restaurant counters etc.

The main reason businesses are looking to solve when they come to Microvellum:

The Business….

  • May currently have manual cutting processes and they’re looking to upgrade their software to Microvellum when a CNC machine is introduced

  • Already have CNC machinery but their current software doesn’t allow a streamlined design to manufacturing process

  • Needs to produce architectural grade drawings which they can with our platform

  • Is looking to automate their ordering to manufacturing process by automatically importing orders generated on their website into Microvellum for immediate production processing

  • Needs to streamline their design & manufacturing process in one software platform rather than using stitched together applications with import/export processes

  • Needs the ability to create bespoke designed joinery which generally can’t be produced with standard “kitchen design software”

Some benefits of Microvellum, to name but a few:

  • Based in AutoCAD, the industry standard for the manufacturing sector.

  • One software platform from design through to manufacture.

  • One software platform will ensure errors are minimised as data transfer for manufacturing data is eliminated

  • Project pricing straight from the design drawings

  • Design drawings hold all the manufacturing intelligence within, so you’re creating machining data in conjunction with design

  • Auto-generated part & product labelling for manufacture

  • Manufacturing data viewable in excel spreadsheet format, providing a familiar and friendly user interface

  • Create custom units and save back to the library for future use

  • No proprietary code to keep you out; You can configure however you want
